Planning 2010 & announcing Treat-or-Treasure
Thursday, August 26th, 2010Well, it’s that time of year again.
My neighbors’ kids are in school, the snow birds are leaving or returning to their 6 month home, and my family…we’re planning Green Halloween events all over Daytona Beach. ;-D
Interest in GH has grown considerably this year, and I am happy to say we have a new member of the GH Daytona team.
Laura Sutton has been a whole foods vegan for 20 years, organic farmer, is the mother of 3 young children, and has a goal of living a truly sustainable life. She is a member of the “Healthy Child, Healthy World” (http://healthychild.org/) non-profit organization and initiative. Laura is heading our Treat-or-Treasure campaign and fundraiser for the Fair Share Urban Agriculture Project (http://wedigfairshare.org). If you are interested in helping raise funds for this glorious organization by collecting spare change instead of “treats,” please contact Laura at (386) 761-9264.
