Welcome to the Canton, CT Green Halloween website!  My name is Suzanne DeRosa and I am co-owner of The Little Green Tambourine.  My business partner, Megan Nisenson, and I help many non-profit organizations in our community and when we learned about Green Halloween, we just knew this was something we wanted to be a part of.  

We bring Green Halloween to Canton, CT because we believe there are many families with young children in our community who are looking for healthier and safer alternatives to the traditional Halloween festivities. We hope to show the families and businesses in our area how easy it is to be part of the Green Halloween movement by providing them with ideas and resources for buying more nutritious and delicious treats and on how to throw the most kickin’ Green Halloween Bash ever!   

We’re not trying to cut the candy out of Halloween entirely, we are just trying to encourage our community to provide healthier alternatives along with candy so that children with allergies or dietary restrictions can be a part of this fun holiday too!  We’re not anti-candy, we’re just pro-kids!
