Community Youth Halloween Costume Exchange & Donation Event The bummer about kids Halloween costumes is that they’re pretty much a one-time use item. Kids grow so fast, and unless you’ve got younger kids to pass down those costumes to, they’re useless to your family after the season. Thankfully, you can help out other families in need and give new life to a gently used costume at the same time. Rosemount Parks and Recreation has set up a Children’s Halloween Costume Exchange that allows you to exchange or donate your kids used costumes and choose a “new” costume for your child for this season or provide a costume for a kid in need in Rosemount. Tickets will be handed out for each donated costume. One costume entitles the donor to one ticket, which can then be used to "pay" for the new costume they choose at the exchange. Costume Drop Off: Drop off your clean children’s costume to the Parks and Recreation Office in the lower level of the community center at 13885 South Robert Trail anytime Monday – Friday between 8:00am-4:30pm from now until Wednesday, October 13. Costume Pick Up: Pick up a “new” costume Friday, October 15 from 6-8pm or Saturday, October 16 from 9-11am at the Steeple Center 14375 South Robert Trail (Former St Joseph’s Church). Questions – Contact Rosemount Parks and Recreation at 651-322-6000. Fri. Oct 15 - 6-8pm Sat.
